Archana Kalpathi Shuts Down Bigil Loss Rumours

Bigil continues to be a topic of discussion even years after its release with many questioning whether the film was profitable because of its high budget.

AGS Entertainment producer Archana Kalpathi has now clarified that Bigil is the most profitable film in the production house’s history.

She said the film earned strong box office collections and was financed through bank loans rather than expensive private funding.

Archana also defended director Atlee saying he makes big-budget films that create a larger market and connect with audiences.

She praised Vijay for his humility adding that he encouraged her to enter film production. Bigil became one of the biggest Tamil blockbusters of the year.
